FRANCIS MENASSA
CEOFrancis Menassa is the CEO and Founder. Menassa cut his teeth as a Relationship Manager in private banking at Merrill Lynch, which he joined in 1996. In 2001, Francis joined Credit Suisse as a Wealth Manager in Private Client Services. In 2008, Francis and a colleague went independent and set up their own private wealth management firm, Plurimi Capital, where Francis served as the Chief Operating Officer, Partner and Head of Business Development. After more than two decades in the City, Francis established JAR Capital in 2014.

Achal Kapoor
Managing DirectorAchal looks after the Wealth Management and the Corporate Business for JAR and has been associated with the Financial services industry for the past 23 years. He started his career with Standard Chartered Bank and has held Senior Management positions with Citibank in London and Kotak Mahindra in India. He holds an MBA Degree from McGill University, Canada and an Engineering Degree in Computer Sciences from India.

Ulric Ojeer
COOUlric joined JAR Capital Limited in the Summer of 2018, a financial industry professional with over 30 years’ experience gained in blue-Chip organisations such as Merrill Lynch and Barclays Private Bank. Whilst working in these blue chip institutions rapid progression followed culminating in senior VP-level roles at Merrills, working for the MENA region and at Barclays, working directly for the COO of IPB Barclays Private Bank.

Vladimir Makienko
Vice PresidentVladimir has joined JAR Capital coming from the Asset Management industry, where he progressed from an equity trader to a Fund Manager at Integral Capital Management. Before this, Vladimir was also working in AML, Compliance and Corporate Structures roles. He holds a BSc in Finance and an MBA from Webster University, and reads for an Executive MSc in Finance at the London School of Economics.

Talal Ghalah
Senior Finance ManagerTalal joined JAR Capital in July 2017 as a Senior Finance manager on the back of 6 years’ experience with a large private Wealth Manager. Prior to this Talal worked in the technically demanding field of Mechanical Engineering and has utilised the analytical skills gleaned in that industry, along with guidance from our experienced Finance Director, to build out and fine tune JAR’s financial operations.

Business Development DirectorIn a career spanning 35 years Graham has worked for Lloyds Private Banking in Mayfair and Merrill Lynch International Private Bank in both London and Monaco. Graham has managed assets of over £2 billion. Investments have been spread across all asset classes, alternatives and various currencies sometimes using hedging strategies. Clients included institutions, pension funds and ultra-high net worth private clients, who were mainly entrepreneurs, entertainers, and sports personalities.

Peter Young
Head of LegalJAR Capital's Chief Legal Officer, Peter Young began his legal career in 1998 gaining experience in tax in London firm K&L Gates. Admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales and Gibraltar, he has a broad range of multi-jurisdictional funds experience including specialist knowledge of technology investments. He is a licensed Experienced Investor Fund director bringing his legal and tax experience to several Gibraltar funds of which he is the regulated director.
